This continuing program provides comfort and assistance to women who are unable or not ready to attend a support group. Members of Women At Risk support groups volunteer to work on an individual basis with other women either by regularly talking on the phone or visiting with them in the hospital or at home if they are to ill to come to us. We encourage our members to visit our informal and comfortable office settings or call us for information and resources. We also provide individual support for women needing assistance for doctor's appointments and visits to social service organizations. Our goal is to empower women who are fighting this disease by being supportive, by being understanding, and through mentorship from women just like themselves.
